Gibson Gold

Gibson Gold is an upper-case only font in two weights (Regular & Semi-Bold) with a complete set of alternate characters. It was designed for display use, to capture the special aesthetic needs of the new Strongbow Gold brand. Passive sharp terminals reference motifs from archery, and give a sense of dynamism and excitement. Gibson Gold is a modified version of Gibson, designed by Canada Type in 2011. The project was led by Rob O’Reilly and Bobby Tannam, with creative direction from Laurence OByrne and Mike Mesbur.
